Educational support to professionals and parents
To support teachers in sexuality education we developed a Dutch databank with over 80 selected education programmes on different topics of sexuality. We have also developed a teaching package for teachers and other professionals about sexuality and relationships. A lot of parents struggle with questions about sexuality education and sexual support to their children. Therefore, we developed educational leaflets and brochures to support parents in the upbringing of their children. For pedagogic professionals we developed the manual "Growing up with love”. It contains general information on the sexual development of children, myths and facts, and it addresses actual topics on sexuality like pornography, the media, sexual harassment, sexual honour, puberty, and enables parents how to talk with children about sexuality and how to support them.
