New Youth Advisory Group (YAG) members
In 2009 Youth Incentives recruited six new members for the Youth Advisory Group (YAG). The YAG is a group of 12 young people from all over the world, aged 16 to 24 years. They give advice on various issues concerning project activities, programme strategies, conference and workshop themes and general input concerning matters that affect the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people. The purpose is to enhance the involvement of young people at all levels of the Youth Incentives programme.
It was a race against the clock, but in the end we found what we were looking for in four enthusiastic new members from the following countries: Rwanda, Uganda, Malawi and Nigeria. We also found two excellent Dutch candidates, and so the YAG is complete once again.
