In order to share our vision, knowledge and methodologies, Rutgers Nisso Groep’s international programme on youth and sexuality, Youth Incentives, has produced several brochures, factsheets and tools. These materials were developed in consultation with and participation of young people. We have tried to make these materials meaningful within a diversity of contexts, national circumstances, religions and cultures. In addition, the national programmes of the Rutgers Nisso Groep have developed a wide variety of materials and tools to be used specifically in the Dutch context. Most of them are in Dutch. Even though some of these materials have been translated into English to use with English speaking target groups in the Netherlands, we are still in the process of analyzing if, and how, these materials could be adapted to other (international) contexts. Next to these products, Rutgers Nisso Groep also offers a wide range of training modules to professionals in the field of sexuality, sexual reproductive health & rights, and how to make these topics conversable with young people.

In order to increase awareness of sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people, Youth Incentives provides information and services based on young people’s sexual needs. It also encourages and supports the participation of young people in the development and implementation of programmes through research. By organising study tours, site visits and exchange programmes, Youth Incentives builds networks and stimulates cooperation between local and global organisations concerned with the sexual health and welfare of young people.
