Funding
The Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) provides institutional subsidies annually, which allows us to execute important programmes in the Netherlands. In order to finance the more extensive projects Rutgers Nisso Groep is required to find other funds. In the Netherlands we, therefore, submit project proposals to private funds and trusts, and charities We also submit tenders with Ministries (Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS), Education, Justice), public institutions or social organisations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provides a considerable part of the funding of our international projects. In 2009 and 2010 our international programme Youth Incentives benefits from the so-called MFS-subsidy intended for projects in developing countries. Furthermore, we apply for ’calls’ from all kinds of international organisations and try to raise funds with international charities.
